Construction
Horizontal, multi-stage,
single radial suction, segmental type centrifugal pump.
Axial thrust balancing by means of specially designed
balancing piston drum.
The casing which is split
vertically sealed by o-rings and held together by external
tie bolts, providing a rigid unit. The shaft is carried
in silent grease lubricated antifriction bearings with
housings flanged to the delivery casing. Ring oil bearings
for special cases are optional.
Shaft sealing by means
of standard stuffing box or on request precision mechanical
seals. Pressure relieved delivery side dtuffing box
ensures the operation under vacuum conditions. Dynamically
balanced closed type impellers rotating in renewable
casing wear rings.
Installation
Horizontal, direct coupled,
foot mounted electric motor through a flexible coupling
with guard. Pump an dprime mover mounted on common steel
fabricated base plate.
